This heartwarming story is about two bonded kittens who have never left each other’s side since they were found on the streets together. A shelter in Montreal contacted Chatons Orphelins Montreal, a fellow cat rescue, about two kittens in need of help. The kittens were found huddled together and wouldn’t leave each other’s side. They both have adorable goatee-like markings on their chin, giving them a perpetual smile.

The mother cat was taken to the vet for life-saving surgery, and the kittens were transferred to a loving foster home at Chatons Orphelins Montreal. Initially timid, the kittens, named Babett and Tapeo, soon warmed up to their human caregivers and began exploring their new indoor life.

Babett and Tapeo are inseparable and follow each other everywhere around the house. They are playful and curious, always exploring and looking for things to play with. Feather toys are their favorite, and they both come running when their human brings out a feather wand.

When not playing, they cuddle with each other, groom each other, and appear to be smiling in bliss. The kittens have grown in size, confidence, and affection over the weeks in foster care. They adore attention from their human caregivers and purr whenever they are looked at or cuddled.

After the mother cat fully recovered, she found her forever home, where she will never have to go through another pregnancy and will be safe and loved. After two months in foster care, Babett and Tapeo found their dream family, who adopted them together, ensuring they will never be apart.

The kittens continue their daily activities as a bonded pair, wrestling, chasing each other during playtime, and wrapping their arms around each other before falling asleep. They are living the best life and receiving endless cuddles from their forever family.
