This adorable cat is Bronson, a gentle giant who was adopted by a lovely couple named Mike and Megan from the Humane Society. Bronson was brought to the organization after his previous owner passed away. When he arrived, he was 3 years old and weighed a hefty 33 pounds, probably because his elderly owner was feeding him all day long.

After adopting Bronson, Mike and Megan took him to the vet, who put him on a diet. They have already adjusted his diet three times and designed a special exercise routine to help him lose weight gradually, just as a cat should. Bronson is making progress and has already lost 1.6 pounds with the love and care of his new owners. They are confident that he will succeed in reaching a healthier weight.

When Mike and Megan first saw Bronson at the Humane Society, they were instantly drawn to him. They went back the next day to meet him and fell in love with his sweet and happy personality. It seemed like he was thrilled to have a new home with plenty of space to roam.

Bronson is settling in well, but he’s not quite ready to share the wall furniture with the other cats yet. However, Mike and Megan know he’ll get there with time.

Their goal is for Bronson to lose one pound per month, and they are excited about his progress. They hope that soon he’ll be able to climb stairs with no difficulty, just like the other cats. With the love and support he receives, Bronson is on his way to a healthier and happier life with his new family.
