At a construction site, workers spot a lone kitten, and days later, another kitten with an identical coat appears, igniting their curiosity.

Three months ago, a tiny kitten was found alone in a construction site’s parking area. The cat mom never returned, so the workers contacted Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue (MLAR) for help. A foster volunteer named Monica welcomed the kitten, Squiggy, into her care.

A few days later, another kitten with a similar fluffy coat was found at the same site. Named Shirley, this second kitten looked like a sibling to Squiggy. MLAR arranged for their reunion, and as soon as they saw each other, they started playing and snuggling as if they had never been apart.

Monica and a team of people made sure the two kittens would never be separated again. Squiggy quickly learned to eat from a dish, while Shirley enjoyed extra bottle time. They did everything together, and their personalities rubbed off on each other.

As Squiggy and Shirley grew, they joined other foster kittens in playful activities. They became social butterflies and quickly found their forever home together. Thanks to the efforts of many, Squiggy and Shirley get to spend their lives together, forever.
