Trapped in a vent, a grateful kitten finds rescue and expresses thanks by curling up on her rescuers’ necks.

A distressed kitten was trapped in a ventilation shaft at a university. After days of meowing, concerned students sought help from Animals Lebanon, a rescue group. The rescue team tried various methods to locate and rescue the kitten until they finally set up a humane trap outside the vent, where the hungry kitten eventually found her way out and into safety.

The kitten, named Delilah, was initially terrified but slowly warmed up to her rescuers, seeking affection and trust. She was taken in by a foster home, where she fully placed her trust in her caregivers. Delilah’s character blossomed, and she became a playful, cuddly, and happy cat. Now, Delilah enjoys her life as an indoor cat, filled with playtime, snuggles, and shoulder rides. She has transformed from a timid stray to a confident and affectionate companion.
