Despite being returned multiple times and ending up as a stray, dedicated rescuers investigate her history and eventually find the perfect place for the cat, giving her a chance to finally have a loving and forever home.

A friendly stray cat named Monica was found in South Jersey by a volunteer of the Community Cat Club. After locating a microchip, they discovered that Monica had been adopted from a shelter previously. However, her adopter couldn’t be reached, so she was put up for adoption again.

Monica quickly found a new home, but despite being in good health, she started displaying behavioral issues. The adopters tried various methods to help her adjust, but nothing seemed to work. After almost a year, they decided to return her to the Community Cat Club.

The rescue decided to investigate Monica’s history to understand her behavioral problems better. They found out that she had been returned multiple times to shelters due to litter box and behavioral issues. It became evident that Monica preferred being outdoors and was a social cat who craved human interaction.

The Community Cat Club searched for the perfect place for Monica to be happy and well-cared for. Through a friend, they learned about Sickler’s Circle View Farm, which was seeking a social barn cat. Sara, from the rescue, believed Monica would be a great fit for the farm.

Monica arrived at the farm and immediately adapted to her new life. She confidently explored the area, greeting people and enjoying attention from the farm’s customers. The farm became her forever home, and she relished the outdoor life, patrolling the property, sunbathing, and bringing joy to everyone she met.
After two years of being in and out of homes, Monica finally found her happily ever after at Sickler’s Circle View Farm. Her quirky personality and friendly nature make her a beloved fixture on the farm, bringing happiness to her new family and all the visitors she encounters.
